Understanding Secondary Conditions

Anterior Head Syndrome

Secondary Conditions are often your body’s warning signs that something deeper may be affecting normal function. Your body’s warning system—your symptoms—may indicate a more significant underlying condition rather than the primary problem itself. In many cases, Secondary Conditions are signs that normal body function has been altered.

A Structural Shift may create Neurological Obstructions that impede the normal flow of communication or information throughout the nervous system. Because the nervous system is the body’s master control and communication system, altered nerve function may affect muscles, joints, organs, glands, and other tissues throughout the body.

As a result, Secondary Conditions can appear in many different ways. Some people experience pain, while others notice headaches, neck or back stiffness, numbness, tingling, dizziness, digestive changes, fatigue, balance problems, or other health concerns. In some cases, there may be little or no pain despite underlying dysfunction.

Likewise, not everyone with a Structural Shift develops the same Secondary Conditions, and some individuals may have altered function with few or no noticeable symptoms.

Rather than focusing solely on Secondary Conditions, our goal is to determine whether an underlying Structural Shift is contributing to altered neurological function. By correcting a Structural Shift, we strive to improve nervous system function and reduce Neurological Obstructions, allowing the body to function and heal more normally.

If you are experiencing one or more of the Secondary Conditions listed below, we invite you to schedule a complimentary consultation.
